The last semester of studying at Thammasat University has finally emerged, not to mention Sandy’s graduation is also just around the corner. Having contemplated about his surroundings in the university, he sort of takes himself back to the very first day he stepped into this place. Regarding his current university life, he always loves to be at school, spending most of his time talking with his friends and throwing in some jokes every once in a while to crack them up. Most of his friends, nonetheless, are female as they cover up to 90 percent of students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Back in his freshman year, he regularly felt forlorn, pondering he got no one else but himself. He was once reserved, not being ready to come out of his shell. He thought he did not belong to this place, nor did he see everything worth fighting for. Isolation, frustration and insecurity simultaneously crept in and took their toll on his already frail personality, making him feel like a robotic buffoon who was afraid to be honest with his feelings. Fortunately, he still does not waive the white flag, not giving in to ongoing doubts and a strong sense of incompatibility. Up until now, he manages to rise above the adversity pestering his life. He is so much thrilled to eventually make it to his last semester though he felt that he would not have survived the freshman year. Sandy would not be where he stands today if he lowered his self-esteem. All these years, he comes to an epiphany that he is one courageous boy who should not misjudge his ability to mingle with people, regardless of sex. More importantly, he seems to know well this hasty misjudgment could lead him to self-destruction that once was about to cloud his life. As far as tomorrow goes, he knows he will be able to settle for everything passing by if he is well aware of who he is.
